Meet the Doctor
Dr. Robert Fera Bsc. H.K. D.CChiropractor: Certified Functional Abilities Evaluator
Dr. Fera has been registered in Ontario as a practicing Doctor of Chiropractic since 1991, after graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He holds a B.Sc. in Human Kinesiology from the University of Guelph and was certified in Acupuncture in 1996 by the Acupuncture Council of Ontario. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators.
He conducted Medical and Rehabilitation assessments at Health Sciences North ( formerly the Sudbury Regional Hospital) from 1997- 2006, where he is currently rostered as a WSIB evaluator and clinical consultant with the Forward to Function Program . He is also engaged as the Post Offer of Employment assessment consultant for Workforce Solutions, conducting pre-employment physical examinations for various corporations and industries. He maintains an active clinical practice with extensive experience in motor vehicle collision related injury diagnosis and management. Dr. Fera is certified in Motor Vehicle Crash Forensic Risk Analysis and has participated in 13 crash reconstructions utilizing live subjects and the BioRid II dummy. He has worked as an Assistant Emergency Medic on the IMSA, CART and INDY race car circuits.
Dr. Fera has served as a member of the Science North and the Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation Boards of Directors and as a member of the Brain Injury Association Of Sudbury Board of Directors. He is the cast chiropractor for the Sudbury Theatre Centre and Theatre Cambrian.

Calvin OrokKinesiology and Ergonomics Consultant
Cal has 34 years of work experience including health and safety and ergonomics.
Cal earned two Science degrees in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, and has an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from Ryerson University (2011). He has been certified for Functional Capacity Evaluations and Job Site Evaluations from Isernhagen (Workwell), and has also completed independent assessments with the Hanoun Focus system, BTE Evaluator system, and an Arcon Vernanova system.
He is an expert in Physical Demands Analyses (PDA’s) and Ergonomic Assessments. He has performed Disability Management and Occupational Health and Safety related work in Sudbury, Vaughan, London, Mississauga and Northern Ontario since 2001 and has years of full time experience in Functional Testing, including work with numerous physiotherapists and other health professionals. Cal has been a professional Kinesiologist full time since 1985 and a Registered Kinesiologist since 2013. Mr. Orok is a past and current member of an exam writing committee for the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.
Cal began his Kinesiology career as a Fitness Specialist. He is proficient in human performance testing. His Bachelor's Thesis was related to Running (Critical Power) and his Master's Thesis was related to Cycling (Lactate Kinetics). He designed a seniors' community gym in Scarborough and ran an exercise program for frail seniors for three years. He ran a small commercial gym and bicycle service, Perseverance, in Gravenhurst, for 9 years: the first full-time gym & full time bicycle service in South Muskoka.
